Our Story
Originally we did not plan to operate as a professional Dog Breeder, we just wanted a wonderful pet for ourselves. However, we became hooked and soon we added a second and then a third one to our family. After acquiring information about the breeding process, we decided to do our part in preserving and improving this beautiful breed which led to the birth of Finewhines Havanese. All About The Breeder
We were going to retire, build a small home and travel at least that was the
plan...Fall of 2017 my life paths changed and I needed to find an outlet. I went to visit a friend for a few days, and there was Hemingway the Havanese. Hemi was this friendly, playful little pup that melted my heart and by the end of my stay I was sure Hemi was coming home with me in my suitcase. Right then and there I made the decision if a puppy was ever going to be part of our family again it was going to be a Havanese.
A year later with life back on track, I decided it was time to research Havanese Breeders. Boy it didn't take long to realize all breeders were not created equal so I started to educate myself on what are the qualities that make up good breeders and to have a list of questions to ask.

In the spring of 2019 I found a breeder that was a perfect fit and on May 10th 2019 Kiwi came home with me.
Now to the part about becoming a breeder and showing my dogs...it's like a box of chocolates you can't just have 1 dog! So in 2020 Kiwi got a buddy and the two of them were so much fun to watch and filled my life with such joy I realized raising Havanese was going to be my new hobby.
With the support and encouragement of top breeders that brings me to where I am today, doing my part to give opportunities to other forever pet homes to add
a healthy, well socialized happy puppy to their family.
